Future Information

Chapter 918 will hold its next regular monthly meeting on February 9th, 7 pm, at the

Elk’s Lodge located at 510 Centennial Blvd, Nevada, Missouri. Chapter 918 meets on the 2^nd

Thursday, monthly.

Anyone interested in supporting our Veterans, is cordially invited. We invite you to visit with

us and see what we are about. Thanks!

Chapter 918 is thankful to all of you for your support as a Member, Associate, or Patron. You support this

Chapter and by doing so, you support your Veterans. May we continue our work in honor of those who are

serving and those who have served.

                                                                      State Activities

               The State Council will meet on March 3rd, 2012 for their next regular state meeting.

        The VVA State Convention will convene in Columbia at the American Legion on June 16th,

 2012 at 9 am and dismiss at 4 pm. 

Company A-311^th BSB Troops, from our area, who have been deployed to Afghanistan, are receiving

care packages throughout their tour. These care packages consist of nuts, snacks, dry beverage mixes, and

other non perishables which we collect during our monthly meetings. These items have to fit in the 5 X 12 inch

flat rate boxes to be mailed. No chocolate or any items that will melt, please. Anyone caring to donate items

may drop their item off at the Westside Barber shop on the Nevada square during business hours. Thanks for

supporting your Veterans.
